MLK Day

I can never be what I ought to be until you are what you ought to be.
You can never be what you ought to be until I am what I ought to be.

Martin Luther King Jr. born “Michael King, Jr.,” was awarded Nobel Peace Prize for this fight for African American Civil Rights.

During his speech in India MLK said, “Since being in India, I am more convinced than ever before that the method of nonviolent resistance is the most potent weapon available to oppressed people in their struggle for justice and human dignity. In a real sense, Mahatma Gandhi embodied in his life certain universal principles that are inherent in the moral structure of the universe, and these principles are as inescapable as the law of gravitation.”
